The Importance of Birth Order

Are you the leader or the mascot of the family?

Of course there are exceptions to every rule and many factors must be taken into consideration. For example, if you are the third or fourth child in the family; but there is a twelve year difference between the last two, the last child could quite possibly be considered a first born or an only child.

In the case of twins or any multiple births, it is a fact that the oldest child (even by only five minutes) would be considered the first born. He then may have a tendency to be the first to answer questions or make decisions.

Another fact that is important to consider is gender or adoption versus natural birth. If you are the only girl and the middle child, you may receive more attention, hence there would be a slight difference in personality.

The third born would be more desirable for a client who needs a great deal of compassion, sympathy and empathy. Many third borns have had to learn to manipulate, negotiate and work hard to achieve their goals.
